'Save the Salmon' Project

When faced with difficult, multi-level environmental problems, one effective  way to bring about positive change is by harnessing the power of Public Awareness.  Our 'Save the Salmon' program will highlight the plight of the Columbia River's salmon, and educate audiences about how very endangered they are.  But more importantly, the film will outline and advocate for  the biologically-sound steps that need to be implemented in order to bring the salmon 'Back from the Brink' of extinction.

Our "Save the Salmon" Campaign is a collaborative effort between artists and environmentalists, who want to highlight the dire state of all species of Pacific salmon, and what needs to be done to save them.

This campaign has two independent components.  The film "Sagalla Speaks" will feature actors and musicians who are environmentally aware and want to collaborate on how we can  make an exciting film, while also showing the public what steps need to be taken in order to turn around the salmon's slide into Extinction.

**  "EXTINCTION is FOREVER"  **

We hope that this ambitous project will have the direct effect of RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS, INSPIRING PEOPLE INTO ACTION & ultimately  SAVING THE SALMON, by saving the Columbia River!  It is the classic 'David & Goliath' story in modern day form. - Standing at the base of Bonneville Dam,  our protagonist, Lacey Lewis has her slingshot ready!  We hope that this Movie and our 'Save the Salmon' campaign will really make a difference, and we hope that  "Artists4Action!" will go on to inspire more Artists & their audiences to take up the banner of protecting what is left of our world.

Our 'Save the Salmon" campaign is just the first of what we hope will be many pro-active projects that bring on board major artists to highlight urgent environmental problems and speak out in defense of the earth!

We eventually intend to invite artists of all kinds to join us in solving environmental challenges by 'being creative' and sharing their passion and talents in a collaborative effort to protect the Environment, that we all need to sustain us.

We hope you will join us!
